Integrated Management System Policy for Quality, Food Safety, and Environmental Protection at Aroma Praha, a.s.
The joint-stock company Aroma Praha, as a manufacturer of fragrance and flavor ingredients, continues a tradition in this field in the Czech lands that dates back to 1882. The foundation of the current business group was established in the early 1950s under the umbrella of the Fat Industry, originating from the nationalized companies “František Židlický, First Chemical Factory in Vysočany,” “Hynek Strnad, Liqueur Production,” and Schimmel and Co. During privatization, a separate joint-stock company was created by spin-off from the state enterprise ASTRID. Today, Aroma Praha, a.s., together with Aroco, spol. s r.o., forms a conglomerate-type manufacturing group.
